Below are some of the questions I get about the guided meditation class I offer. The class isn’t what you’re probably thinking and is more of relaxation, self-healing, progressive therapeutic healing class. Read through some of these questions; maybe it will change your mind about taking the course.
DO I HAVE TO KEEP MY CAMERA AND AUDIO TURNED ON?
You do not have to have either camera or audio on for the class. You download the zoom app, enter the meeting code and password, and you are in and ready to start your healing journey.
IF THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE IN THE CLASS, DO WILL I TAKE ON THEIR ENERGY?
No, you will not take on anyone’s energy. When I do any class, I always protect the energy of each individual in the room. You are in your own environment, in your own safe and peaceful place.
WILL I GET HEADACHE, STOMACH ACHE, OR THOUGHTS OF NOT WANTING TO COME TO CLASS?
Yes, you absolutely will have some physical and mental upsets when attending class. After about the 3-4th class, that will subside. Why does this happen? The mental health reason behind it is because your subconscious emotions are being brought to the surface. Because you’re not in touch with those thoughts and feelings, your body reacts and tries to protect them from coming forward. Its key in anyone’s healing journey to process those emotions to move forward.
DOES THE CLASS HAVE THE SAME EFFECT IF it is NOT IN PERSON?
Yes! It is better because you’re in your own environment and more vulnerable.
WHAT IF I CAN’T RELAX OR SIT STILL TO DO MEDITATION CLASS?
Well, then you should be taking my class! The point of meditation is to get the mind to slow down enough so that the body can begin to heal, and the mind too. You might struggle to calm and focus at first, but with continued classes, you’ll be a meditation super star. You’ll be thankful you started.
I TRIED MEDIATION, AND I CAN’T SEEM TO SEE ANYTHING?
Visual images and colors often come after the 2nd or 3rd class, but sometimes people get it right away.
WILL I GET VISIONS AND ANSWERS TO MY PROBLEMS THROUGH THIS CLASS?
Yes! Once you have attended several classes, you will find you begin to work through and heal some subconscious things affecting your life. Once you work through those things, you will start to see many beautiful and bright colors, get messages for your healing, get more in touch with your higher self.
WHAT IF MY RELIGION SAYS I SHOULDN’T MEDITATE
I would say that meditation gets you closer to God. Meditation is healing, calming, peaceful, love, self-love, self-care, becoming more light. You have to decide for yourself if it’s right for you, though.
