We can all admit that these times are tough on us emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Today, though, I had a moment of clarity and remembered how love can lift us up.
The last few days, the song “Love lifts us up where we belong” has been coming to my head on REPEAT.
As the song replayed in my head for the 100th time, it got me thinking about how, if we come from a place of more love than hate, we can be at the gates of heaven rather than hovering at the miserable gates of hell. I mean, love feels much better, doesn’t it?
So, instead of flipping off the driver who cut you off, offer them some love. Instead of being annoyed, you have to be at work, make the people around you laugh, and spread a little love. Instead of wondering when the world is going to get better, be the love you want to see in the world.
Real love in any form can spread light and healing for miles and miles, casting out darkness and bringing life back to an area and the people in it.
Love nature—the animals, birds, even the bugs. Learn to lift yourself up with love. Love and believe in God most of all.
But don’t just be the love; learn to accept love too. Let the love come back to you.
Love beyond measure. Love lifts us up where we belong ❤️
Much love, love, love
